Connecting BCN-MUC-YYZ

Hi Everyone -

MUC-YYZ leaves at 11:50
I have two options from BCN
1. Lufthansa at 8 am arriving at 10
2. Iberia/Vueling at 7 arriving at 9:10

Any experience with either? Recommended flight?

LH1817 is the usual (and popular) Star to Star connection from BCN and perfectly doable in Europe's most connect-friendly airport. Certainly if you feel you need a bit of a buffer with some extended lounge time - option 2 is worth considering. 40/45 minute connections @ MUC inbound and out are common.

Agree re MUC. I go out of my way to connect through MUC rather than FRA if I can help it.

I've done that itinerary with the LH flight a few times and it's more than enough time to connect.

Definitely recommend that over the Vueling option (Iberia doesn't fly that route) as you'll be taken care of by LH incase of any irrops.

Came back from MWC in BCN last year on the LH flight to MUC, lots of time, no issues.

Going back through ZRH this year.

1hr50min is usually tons of time for Munich. Take the LH flight. There are also lots of rerouting options on LH should something happen.
