** If you are posting an associated year and/or month, please do so with the following priority of roll call information:
- The year and/or month you know you CROSSED the threshold. This information takes priority in the roll call list.
- If you are not sure when you crossed a threshold, then the year and/or month in which you first found out that you crossed an MM tier. This could either be by email, at the airport because some agent told you, you see your BP has ACMM remarks for the first time, you get an email from Air Canada congratulating you, you received your kit in the mail, etc.
If you are aware of a former poster who is unable to post their information, you may add them.

Status Update: There is no update!!! According to the AC loyalty team it would take 6 weeks for them to send me a special package and only then they would recognize my status as MM on their system. Who cares about the stupid package with airplane toy with my name engraved on it?!! Just recognize the god damn status asap the same way you do for other altitude thresholds electronically. I'm over 30K above the 1MM already & heading to Japan this weekend with a bad back (did CT scan yesterday) and really could use the upgrade to J. Now, just imagine how I would feel if I get trumped by a MM member on the upgrade list ... Try to explain that to AC loyalty and see what kind of responses you get from those degenerates. Well, I feel better already now that I vented here

Lucky you my friend. After I followed up with them they sent me an acknowledgment letter saying "To celebrate your accomplishment, you’ll receive your One Million Mile package within the next 4 to 6 weeks, which will include a special gift. Once you’ve received this package, you’ll begin to be recognized as a Million Mile member with Air Canada" I checked at the airport few times and the status is not shown on my boarding passes nor on the altitude dashboard. Concierge checked with them and confirmed that the status will only be recognized when I receive the package in six weeks. I guess AC really know how to suck the joy out of something like this.

Like many other things (AQD anyone?) I suspect this is manually processed maybe once a month.
I picture Audrey's cousin sitting at a VT-100 terminal someplace in the basement, typing in the necessary commands while they stick stamps on the package containing your goodies, prior to them walking down the street to Canada Post.
And I'm only being partially sarcastic about this. My sympathies.

This is rather fast I would say. It’s 22 days since my 1MM flight and still no logo on my altitude page. For my incoming flights to Japan though, I sufficiently annoyed AC folks such that they removed and re-entered my aeroplan # on the booking file and I could see ACMM remarks on my boarding pass. The flights to Japan were all then cancelled for two consecutive days due to typhoon and it became a mess of finding alternative flight, ending up in Y instead of my PE booking when not having any other choice. However, ACMM got me a complementary upgrade to J from YYC to Narita when a passenger didn’t show up, beating up other SE folks on waitlist. So, there is that for a little of luck
