Posted Points Suddenly Reduced (missing)
Up until earlier today, my Aeroplan points balance as displayed on the iPhone app was X. Then when I logged in this evening, the balance had suddenly changed from X to X less 7000 points. I called Aeroplan and there wasn't a great deal of sympathy as I didn't have any corroborating evidence like a screen shot (why would I take one if I had no reason to doubt it?). There is no withdrawal entry under Transactions that would account for the change in balance.
Has anyone dealt with an AE points balance suddenly and inexplicably going down? Did it ever get resolved?
