Yes I think “YYZ” is potentially misleading, even if that’s where many would have to fly into...

Can't make everything work to attend this time around but here's hoping there's a next time.

Then the Do really needs to be called a YTZ Do.

Unless your plans change on short or no notice, right?

The 13th works (sort of) for me, although I have a 0545 day shift the next morning.

We might still be out... Grab one before work? Wait, better not be sarcastic here... Super sleuths from some company might not get it.

So my vote is that we all book refundable international J flights for late on Friday the 13th, have a nice meal and drinks at the Signature Suite then cancel our tickets because our plans suddenly changed and go home. All good as per AC's tariffs apparently.

Too long of a walk from YTZ to the hammer head. Also something about "SS" doesn't seem friendly.

If it's the first time that the Do participants are doing this, I foresee no issue. This is an even better idea for those of you with nothing to lose (e.g. no status), because if Air Canada can't revoke your status as you don't have any, then this is a perfectly safe exercise to do.

In all seriousness, if n=1 and you have no status, and you get taken to court (this would never happen but humour my thought for a second), on a balance of probabilities (the litmus test in civil litigation), no judicial authority would ever call that "fraudulent" - so go ahead and have some fun.

Just don’t do it in Germany. Or post about it on a public forum.
