Premium Economy IKK on Aeroplan now available

When I search for flight on Aeroplan and click the Priority Reward button, I'm seeing additional seats in PY that seem bookable.

For example, Jan 25 YVR-YYZ only shows PY availability when I click IKK button.

I'm just noticing this now.
You're correct that PE was not available for IKK previously.

You would think that something positive would be announced rather than sneaking in.

AC IT. They always ruin the surprise.

Nice to see this as it seemed like a gap in the program before. Surprising that they didn't make a big deal of it with an e-mail blast, but maybe IT just jumped the gun.

YYZ-YVR. I'm not sure if this is actually IKK though, as it doesn't show a priority icon. I saw no PY seats until I hit priority rewards, but now see PY for 20k and IKK Y at 25k. PY is not priced at IKK levels?

Edit - tried some more dates and it doesn't seem 50k gets true IKK PY. But there must be a glitch where I don't see any PY availability unless I hit the priority rewards button, which then returns regular PY seats.

Phew we can all relax. Not a real enhancement, just another IT glitch.

actually Jumper Jack recently started a thread about this:

AE(or AC?) is locking select PE Award booking to Elite+ members only

and this behavior was actually mentioned by me last year as well:

International IKK question

so, nothing new.

Does anyone have any information on how this works?

As an experiment, I looked at a flight 2.5 days from now. It's
J9 C9 D9 Z9 P9 R9 (actual load 4/30, so 26 open)
O9 E9 N9 (actual load 2/21, so 19 open)
Y9 B9 M9 U9 H9 Q9 V9 W9 G9 S9 T9 L0 A0 K0 (actual load 202/247, so 45 open)

For redemption:
J regular (I): 0
PY regular ("N"): 0
Y regular (X): 0

J IKK: 8+
PY IKK: 0
Y IKK: 8+

So... is there really PY IKK? We're 60 hours from departure, PY is booked 2/21, both J and Y have at least 8 IKK (which is the max I can search for), but PY is 0.

I don't think so. I haven't had access to true loads, but I have never seen PY IKK space, even on flights where I can IKK several J and Y seats and there quite a few PY for sale.
