What to do about missing miles?
Hi everyone! Let me start off by explaining my situation.
In late December 2016, I booked a multi city flight from YOW-DEL on April 26th and CDG-YOW on September 4th. When booking, I used a Go AC Family code that was sent to me by my uncle who is an AC pilot. I think the code ended up saving me like $30 on a $1000 ticket.
Anyways, when I returned home in September, I never got any miles deposited in my Aeroplan account, so I attempted to submit a missing miles request. On all of the Air Canada flights, the request was denied instantly with the claim "Fare not eligible for Aeroplan miles". One of my flights, from CDG to FRA was with Lufthansa, and that missing miles request was granted after a few days.
I tried calling Air Canada, but the lady told me that she can't access old bookings and that I would need to email customer support. I sent an email explaining my situation about 45 days ago, but still have not received any response.
My outbound flights were K class, and my return flights were Y class (both of which should give miles). I also checked to see if Go AC Family would be causing this, but it says on the program page that flights booked using this are still eligible for points.
So I don't know what to do anymore... I could try sending another email to AC but I could end up just waiting another month and a half with no response. Anyone know who I could be contacting about this, and why I am receiving an instant rejection for attempting to claim the AC flights on Aeroplan? I don't fly that often so I was really hoping to get these miles to put me over the 50k mark..
Thanks in advance!

1. They used to have a six month limit for claiming missing miles.
2. I suspect these family fares do not qualify. The $30 discount may be a relative thing. (Such as, based upon lowest fare, but not with same restrictions.)
