No YQ on AC?

No YQ on AC?
Hi all,
Earlier today I booked an AC flight J class to HND from YYZ. I was getting ready to search for Ewa Air and spare myself of the YQ yet the direct flight with AC had a $54 total charge, no YQ!
Is there anything I have been missing? Is it now the case that AC/AP do not charge the YQ? That would be a great enhancement indeed...
