Complement for AC

I searched for a suitable thread but could not find one so I started one.
On my recent trip to HKG I did a lot of complaining and in my mind there was just cause but in the same theme those that stood out should also be mentioned.
The AC007 on Aug 30 was returned to YVR due to mechanical issues. When we arrived I must say that AC seemed to be prepared since the had staff to take passengers to a seating area and almost immediately had Drinks and snacks (Miss Vickies). We were all informed that they were sourcing a replacement aircraft to get us moving ASAP. Then after about 30 to 45 min Pizza showed up and there was plenty for everyone. I actually preferred this to getting the coupon and having to stand in line at some Airport restaurant. We then back on a new aircraft after about 2 hours.
I would also like to say all the AC staff that was dealing with the crowd were very friendly and understanding.

Nice post. Thanks for sharing. Great to see AC being pro-active rather than non-reactive.

I find AC is usually quite good dealing with a single flight cancellation/diversion at hub airports like YYZ/YVR. However things can be pretty bad if it's a major IRROPS or it happened at an outstation.

I dunno.

It sounds more like a 2's complement rollover when all the bits flip to the opposite state.

I think the grammar is correct, even if she is old.

My experience was always the opposite; irops at yvr, yyc, yyz, etc were terrible while at SYD the response was flawless.

Nevertheless this story proves AC has at least some people who can handle problems well.

Waiting for the haters to show up, derail the thread with complaints about how AC's planes shouldn't go mechanical and/or their own terrible IRROPs experiences, and call the OP and anyone else who agrees AC did well here (which they did) apologists...

You're an anti anti apologist apologist.

That needs brackets for clarification.

You're an (anti (anti apologist)) apologist.

So that would make him/her an apologist apologist?

x = apologist
(-(-x))x = (x)x

In terms of definitions, I'm just glad it's not a discussion on immunology. Nasty memories!
