Aeroplan is not planning to dissolve on June 2020. But we have concerns it may go belly up way before then and/or sudden devaluation.

That is very bad news... What are some of the concerns? I figured that their setting the 2020 date, meant business as usual until then.

How long does it take for the miles to be credited to your account from Marriott?

Same here, but it took several weeks for the bonus miles to appear during the last Aeroplan promotion.

Miles from my Marriott travel packages just posted tonight. It took a full week, but I kind of recall Marriott to Aeroplan normally deposited on a fixed day - maybe that was Monday of every week. As gpeso8 & dtman85 both also reported receiving their miles last Monday as well.

It took about a week for SPG conversion, the 35% bonus arrived at the same time.

Your posted had me concern as my 35% didn't post along with the regular miles. I did check the T&C and state it will take up to 4-6 weeks after Aug 21st for it to post.

Anyone else got their 35% already?

Transferred some Hilton points, which took 2-3 days to deposit into my AP account.

I received the 35% conversion bonus 1 week later.

Thanks. Glad to hear someone else hasn't got the 35% at the same time as the regular miles. I will report back when I got my 35% and hopefully will not be too long. Thanks.

To add a further note: I transferred some Accor points the same day as my Hilton request and have received neither (9 days and counting).

I finally decided to transfer my SPG points to Aeroplan, as well as some orphan Best Western points. There is an award that I am eyeing and hopefully all these points post with the Sunday sweep so that I can book early next week.

For those who transferred, was the posting date the date it showed up on your account or the day you called in to make the transfer? I'd like to do this but am not sure if it will post in time. Marriott N&F
