I was on the same flight 'Ricky' was on today. 'Julian' was with him at the gate but left before the plane boarded. I assume he must have been waiting to see if he would get on the flight and then didn't. (don't know the story)
I got a gate upgrade on that flight that I requested at checkin. (didn't think I would get it) There was an oversold announcement as well.
Ended up sitting directly behind Ricky in J. That was the 1:50 flight to YYZ, ended up leaving about 30 mins late. (it was late on inbound)
