FWIW I've taken the 20:00 hrs flight to YYC from LAX. They booted me to the front of the AC check-in line because my incoming UA was really, really late (3hrs, when San Diego ATC was evacuated for a forest fire). There were still a bunch of people in line behind me, so a flight later than 22:00 must exist - you probably won't have an issue with AC personnel being available.

You mean to get on an earlier flight to LAX? Or to get out of LAX on UA if your DEN-LAX is late?
UA rules don't allow you to make a same-day confirmed change on an 014 ticket, as far as I know. So you'll have to wait until your trip is actually disrupted before UA will make changes for you. If you miss AC788 due to UA's late arrival, UA agents should be able to help rebook you to YYZ that night via the ORD redeye which doesn't go until ~23:15, assuming there is space. The customer service agents at the United Club are very helpful (and you can use them as an E50K) but you would have to make the trek back to T7.

Agree this is better than parking lot especially since there are low concrete barriers that you may encounter through the parking lot (I have done both). No problem for the agile but a bit of a pain compared to the road/sidewalk . . . ^

And of course reading you quote me, I realize I had "East" in my mind from "East Way", and it's actually WEST of T1.

AC will be in T6 before I'm in LAX again. That will be great!

Sounds like there's hope... Are the TSA lines bad at T2 around 20:30-21:30? I've only been there during the day where they can be pretty long.
I don't have PreCheck But I thought that there was a priority security line for J/ Star Gold.
