Tracking the re-painting of AC's fleet in the new (2017) livery

Since there seems to be demand for a thread tracking the re-painting of the AC fleet but no one wants to start it, I will.

Update the wiki as you see planes in the new livery, catch them flying to the paint shop, hear about status from AC staff, whatever.

Added a new SkyRegional E75 (C-FRQN) that was in the paint shop a few weeks ago. Ex Aeromexico Connect (XA-GAB). I imagine it is going through interior fitting now.

Nice. I assume that was the one pictured below? Would explain why I couldn't find evidence of any of the existing fleet heading to the paint shop around that time.

Anyone know if the remainder of the 789s will be in new colours or the old toothpaste ones? Looks like the most recent 789 (C-FRSO) came out in the toothpaste scheme

I was in YYZ in February and managed to see both a A321 and B788 in the new livery. It looked dark... at first I couldn't even tell what airline it was!

I have seen a picture on one of the forums with C-FRTG (FIN 849) under assembly in Charleston with the new tail. I can't seem to find it though. I believe it is the next AC 789 to roll off the line for pre-flight testing.

Hi

I have updated the list with all fleet-types and # of aircraft in each fleet so we can get an idea of how this is coming along. OP, if you'd like the shorter list back feel free

Sources for fleet count:

Found one which is likely in a paint shop in KROW: C-GITY (A321, fin 452). It was ferried last Saturday.

I personally think that the B789 should be 0 of how many are in service, since to say 29 isn't accurate. There are 17 in service and 0 painted new colours

Makes sense to me—maybe Ill put 29 in brackets to show how many are coming and put the 1 to come in panting...

Update: Updated.

Saw Fin 460 (A321) in YUL today April 4, 2017 getting ready for AC421 YUL-YYZ.

Also in YUL today saw Fin 801 (788) being towed- it was not at a gate- not sure where it was going.

Trying to post pics, but having technical issues.

I think they look awesome.
