Air Canada Mystery - The Case of the Missing Kit Kats

Was on AC111 YVR to YYZ on Saturday and the snack basket and kit kats were sitting in the galley and eventually taken around. Unlike PAL they don't make you point to what you want and then hand it to you.

So here were are, end of December 2021 and a 24left report on Missing Kit Kats. 
I've flown frequently and fairly consistently since Dec 1 of last year.
All through this year - and 11 of 13 months in transcon WB J, I didn’t see a single snack basket in J. IMO, the plastic bag with Miss Vickies and Dark Lindt are meh. Yes viewers, FWP. It's less the contents than the tacky bag. And knot. But I digress.
As service started to move away from boxes and such, back towards plates, glasses, and cutlery, Kit Kats did not return - save for others who posted that they'd seen some in the wild.
I was left to B.Y.O.K.K. and also thanks to friends who occasionally provided pre-flight gifts of such.
So here I am, enjoying my comfy Y seats and what do I see.....
Aha!!!
And now you know why I'm flying Y. 😂🍫😂🍫

The Kit Kats and a proper snack basket have been served in PY for quite some time - for sure since last September. I have photos I never posted. They have not returned to J nor has a proper snack basket - at least on Dom transcons. Instead, J gets the supremely sad presentation of a plastic bag containing 1 Miss Vickies and 1 dark Lindt and a bonus knot on the bag.
