Air Canada Bag Tracking

I was looking for a generic thread about Air Canada tracking bags. FT search spit out these threads.

I was wondering if anyone knows why AC can't manage what I have on my DL app (as per image below), or what AA or others offer. I am sure this has been asked before, but with the recent rash of threads about AC losing bags, I thought I'd ask again.

Really? You're wondering why AC can't manage to implement this? Have you tried using their new booking website?

I'm pretty sure I contributed nicely to the "beta" vent-fest.

But sure, I'll run with your answer. Thanks.

I am pretty sure...Actually
I am certain that this would cause more chaos than not having the system at all, given AC's past records

Anyway, those lost bag threads in the screen shot are only the tip of the iceberg, as it were

It would certainly make sense to have a Master Thread with a wiki about misdirected bags. It comes up so very often, and often with new posters as well.

Generally, as mentioned, AC + new technology = chaos.

Remember when eUps first came out?
Remember when Altitude first became a thing?
Remember when AQD were introduced?
Remember when the new website went live?

Start to see the pattern?

you would think their call enter times would improve if they had some good self serve tools like bag tracking, a decent website, app, etc.
