I decided to take advantage of some of the sub-$4000 P fares to/from Asia.
I found some acceptable dates/fares on Google flights, which sent me to
AC.com to complete the booking. After entering payment info, I got an
error message that said to call AC reservations. When I did, they completed
the reservation, and took my payment.
I received the confirmation email 2 minutes later, and it shows the first
2 flights ( ICN-YVR-YYZ) as waitlisted, rather than confirmed.
Is this a matter of waiting for revenue management to convert some
Z space to P, or should I be concerned enough to cancel the entire booking?
I am amazed that the telephone agent never mentioned anything about
waitlisting to me.

I did call back, the second agent said the first one should never have issued the
ticket in the manner she did, and said the first one " probably didn't even see it
was waitlisted". After about 10 minutes punching keys , she said it was changed
to all confirmed, and emailed a new itinerary showing " confirmed" all across.
