Color me surprised. Show up at NEXUS YYZ Dom...plebian walks from the general security "mouth" exit to the NEXUS lane. I pull up to scan my BP and he gets there 5 seconds before me. The CATSA lady tells him to wait, scans my BP and lets me go to security ahead of him where there's no line.

Color me surprised. CATSA doing something right (and wrong) at the same time. I'm pleasantly amused and impressed right now :)

I hate that stupid NEXUS line. So slow. When I leave YYZ on Friday, I'm going to do the AC Priority line and see how that works out.

Other people disagree with me. But i've done it enough that I know the NEXUS line is mostly quicker.

Some agents have been doing the "hold and wait" to the plebs for awhile now at YYZ Dom security. That line still sucks but has improved in the last year.

The NEXUS line at YYZ Dom has improved, but still sucks.

The Nexus line at YYZ is SO much better than the regular line. I had a fairly brief connection at YYZ once and accidentally left the inner area (I hate that airport layout from the bottom of my heart) and was supposed to go back in, only it was like Saturday afternoon and the lineup was looking like 2 hours long.

Told a security person I accidentally left and had a connection and they shuttled me through Nexus within like 5 minutes.

I wish I was eligible for Nexus... or Global Entry... or anything. Damnit.
