Counting segments

Does anyone know how AC counts segments on a direct flight that has a stop but the same flight #?

Yes: You will only get credit from the departure point to the arrival point. One flight. If the second portion of the flight has a different flight # then you will get two segs.

Biggles.

That's what I figured. So it's not really worth my while to fly YYT-YHZ via Gander, I guess. Back to the PTO board.

The airport alone in Gander is enough reason to fly there... are you saying you have to get points for everything you do? BTW - when in YHZ? I am there again on the 19th.

If you want to experience good customer service from an airline forget Air Canada and try CanJet or WestJet
