Fare difference for Latitude changes?

If I buy a B3LT fare, and then want to change to a different flight one day in advance, do I have to pay up the (large - $1536 to $2305) difference to BLT? Or can I switch flights as long as there is B availability?

That doesn't really answer my question.

I know if I have a B fare and there's only Y space, then I'd have to pay the difference, but what if I have a B3LT, there's B space, but there's less than 3 days to departure?

Fare basis doesn't matter - if there is a fare difference between what you booked at the current fare, you pay.

Better off with an airport change on day of departure since it's free (no fare difference, no change fee) and can be confirmed then.

Good to know, thanks.

That has implications for upgrades, and it assumes you want a flight on the same day. But it's good to know.
