Seating assignment question
Hi everyone,
Well I `won` the Aero-Lotto twice on my recent CDG-YUL-CDG trip. Just have a quick question about seating assignments.
When I called 3 days before my CDG-YUL trip to use my SWU, I got assigned seat 1A. When I got to the airport, they said I was not in 1A but 7D, since it was the mini-J cabin I didn`t mind.
When I called 3 days ago to use my SWU on the YUL-CDG leg, I asked for row 7 and got assigned 7C. When I got to the airport, the boarding pass printed out with 7C, but then the agent said that rows 7 and 8 were blocked, and I got 5D instead.
No big deal, since I got to ride in the front, but why give out seat assignments if they are meaningless?
