Hello,
It’s my first post here on FT and so in the AC/Aeroplan forum. I’m living in YUL since 4 years now and I come from TLS (France). Even if I worked near the Airbus factories I was not yet an avgeek at that time …
Like a lot of people I got the Miles fever when I opened my first FF card – Flying Blue and more important my first credit card (American Express co-branded with AF). Amex was trying to enter the French market and so the bonus were very good.
Now it’s all about Star Alliance
I already made some trips with AC (SFO, LHR, PDX, and YVR). I must confess that even if the service is quite good I’m not still used to the price of domestic or short transborder flights (NYC, YTZ), and I know it’s not only AC.
My next trip in August: YUL-YHZ
I'm interested about all things related to commercial aviation: frequent flyer programs, hard and soft products, airport operations etc.
Merci et ŕ bientôt!
Matthieu

Welcome! The AC FAQ section here is quite good. Also, I find all of the airlines own websites have decent sections about "flying with us" that describes the seats, the classes, the IFE, the meals, etc. to give you a feel for some of their hard and soft products. But from a FF perspective, nothing beats reading the posts here on FT, as others suggested. Enjoy!
