I dont work at AC so how can I substantiate anything. Its not like I have a copy of the rule book. I am speaking simply from the point of view of how it was VS how it is. BTW I have NEVER upgraded anyone but myself. I travel alone.

What you miss is that if I am now prepared to buy an H class fare AC should be happy to give me the extra certificate at that point each one may be woth about $200.00. I dont see all that many others lining up to make that kind of donation to AC

Why don't you just ask here for some extra upgrade certificates? With the new upgrade restrictions, I'm quite sure there will be plenty of certificates floating around.

I'd offer you mine, except I haven't received my new package yet.
