Cool With this post I declare today I will hit 1MM, 100K 2013 AQM, and 10K FT posts!

Triple whammy!

Yep, all on the same day. Not really planned... well, except for the 10K FT posts but as of today March 27, 2013 I will hit both 1MM and 100K AQM at the same time.

I just sat on 9,999 posts for three weeks, and now this, my 10,000th post

Anyway, it's been a long wait but I finally have reached major thresholds. Woot!

Thanks to everyone here (past and present), who, over the years have made it possible for me to glean the knowledge and power necessary to achieve all of this. There have been ups and downs and small bumps on the way but all that pain and heartache was well worth it.

90% of the travel I do now is for pure pleasure, and I am really lucky to be able to do this... and flying more than ever before!

Onwards to 3MM!

I think you need your head examined if you're planning on hitting 3MM with AC and 90% is leisure travel!

I'm about 15K miles short of MM status and after that it's buh-bye AC. But maybe that's because I'm at 100% self-funded travel.

Congrats though!

Quite the trifecta yyznomad. Well done!

That is a lot of flying in less than 3 months.

I guess I should be added to the list for head examinations.... both myself and MrsQQ are 100% self-funded travel for leisure only. We're both SE100K and I'm looking to the future when I'll be 2MM and then 3MM. I just don't know who to give E50K life to since by the time I hit 2MM, MrsQQ will be 1MM and then not need the gift from me.

Congrats and sympathies. Certainly impressive!

I hit 100k last year around this time (this year about half that), and am sitting at AC 900k lifetime (probably 3M all airlines combined). It's both exhilarating as well as boringly tiring.

Enjoy the excitement! But don't be *too* surprised if you discover one day you no longer are...I'll be surprised if I crack 150k this year (vs 500k all airlines last year) and while I'm pretty sure I'll roll over 1MM sometime fairly soon I am definitely not going for 2MM or 3MM!

Well, Ancien Maestro and AAEXP09 hit 10,000 posts in like 2 months. All you have to do is reply to every topic, make no sense, and limit your replies to 5 words!
I cant believe it took you 9 years but I am worse, it took me 11

100k on AC? Thats gonna hit your pocket with all those leisure flights in tango plus!

Well, if you're wealthy, it doesn't matter. Like I've said before, AC has become an airline for the privileged and those on expense accounts.

Congrats to you too.
