Halifax Maple Leaf Lounge

Does anyone have any information/pics of the Halifax lounge? How does it compare to the YYZ/YVR domestic international lounges? Are there any showers? Thanks a lot!

I've been there once briefly. Cozy, but small. No showers:

It's a very nice lounge with an excellent view of the tarmac and a big fish tank. It's rarely very crowded and it's convenient for the gates (at the top of the escalator after security). Food is the usual.

I'm through there almost weekly. Its a smallish lounge, decor was updated last year. Business centre is relatively big given the size of the lounge. Generally a very friendly staff - quite helpful. No showers. The view of the gates allows you to see when your aircraft is at the gate, so that you can enjoy the cozy atmosphere until the last possible moment.

It can get crowded at times when a number of flights arrive/depart close to the same time, or if there are delays.

As others have said, it's a pleasant lounge, and rarely crowded. Also, Nova Scotians are very nice people; if you have time you can go stop by someone's house and ask to use their shower

The lounge looks different now since it's been renovated.

Nice lounge, Kieth's on Tap, and a fair size. Not generally crowded. Although last time I was through (three weeks ago) the escalator was boxed in (renovations) but you can take the elevator from just past security directly to floor 3. They seem to have taken out one of the coffee makers.

The lounge does have small windows to the right in that picture, but they look out in the opposite direction of the tarmac as the lounge is on the other side of the terminal.

Indeed you are correct; however, if you look at the post I quoted, I never represented it as such.
