Hi all! I'm AC Elite, (on track for Altitude 50K next year).

I'm looking at a trip from YYJ to YYZ, January 28-February 1.

When I first looked, I used January 28 - January 31, then changed the tab from January 31 to February 1. All sorts of availability for eUpgrade / Elites for all return flights (to YYJ or YVR).

However, if I do a multi-segment, YYJ-YYZ on the 28th, YYZ to YXU on the 30th and YXU-YYJ on the 1st, no availability, even though it is the same planes from YYZ back.

I tried doing a multi-segment, YYJ-YYZ on the 28th, YYZ-YXU on the 30th, YXU-YYZ on the 1st, and then YYZ-YYJ on the 1st (to duplicate the original YYJ-YYZ return itinerary) and hey presto...no availability on the YYZ to YYJ legs. At all. All day.

Does this sound right to anyone? Does using multi-segment itineraries not permit eUpgrades on return flights? WEIRD!

If you want to post the exact flights you're looking for, someone can look it up on Expertflyer or KVS to see what's happening.

None of the YYZ-YVR or YYZ-YYJ flights as a final leg in my multi-unit itinerary have any availability for eUpgrade, including:

AC007
AC1175
AC117
AC105
AC101
AC109
AC161
AC033

However, all of these flights (except AC033), on a simple return itinerary, DO have eUpgrade availability...strange!!!

Yes, something is up. According to Expertflyer, there are many with space available (shown below as the R value) on 1/29/13:

AC191 - J9 R6
AC007 - J9 R9
AC1175 - J9 R1
AC105 - J9 R4
AC101 - J9 R5
AC109 - J9 R0
AC161 - J9 R8
AC033 - J9 R9

In case I got my dates mixed up here, I checked 2/1/13:

I would call AC; something's wonky.
