Points.com 15% transfer bonus to AP

Just wanted to mention that if you transfer points on points.com to Aeroplan, you get 15%.

I was hoping for 15% out of Aeroplan, unfortunately
If you know what I mean

I guess you can clear out orphan miles?
Oops wait, you need minimum exchange of 15,000.
I guess you can convert Esso?

Points.com has such awful conversion rates. I haven't found anything worth converting yet.

That's my best guess, not a bad way of avoiding fuel surcharges I suppose. I trust my miles in US air even less than Aeroplan though, so I wouldn't transfer unless I was planning on redeeming very soon.

Maybe he had miles in his US account before the transfer?
That's not right...

That's definetely not ".85" . 40k is .80, and 36k is .72.

I called and they are now investigating. At first she said, because you both must live in different cities, but I said we both live in Toronto. So they are now investigating.

Strange, keep us posted? I didn't know they had different redemption ratio for members living in different areas (regions?)
