No bonus for me. Perhaps it is for people who redeemed for flights that did NOT include the SQ scramble?

The upside is you won't have to pay the penalty fee when Aeroplan "redeposits" the points.

Just logged into my account, and saw I was credited with 10,000 miles
for " AEROPLAN REDEMPTION GIVE BACK - AE REWARD MANAGEMENT".
Does anyone know what that is about?
I redeemed a short haul reward last month ( 25K J class) - is this
some kind of discount?

I got it - I havent redeemed since the pre-gutting of the chart in April 2011, and am a proud Aeroplan Tangerine
Other accounts I take care of:
Prestige, last booked during the 'promo' of fall 2011 - did not get 10k
No status, booked a domestic to YVR in April 2012 - did not get 10k
