eupgrade IT fail

Hit a new issue (for me) when requesting an upgrade for AC34 on March 4 earlier tonight. It was only showing J2 so I wanted to get the request in right at T-168 hours. (7 days) The site kept telling me that upgrades can only be requested within 7 days so after a few minutes I called AC & 2 agents/20 minutes later I was told that it was a known issue with Sydney-YVR flights in that the requests cannot be made for an extra hour and to call back at least an hour later. At T- 167 hours it went through. I guess the IT department has difficulties handling daylight savings time down under.

Sorry if this is a duplicate thread. Did a quick search and couldn't find a similar thread to revive.

There was a mention of this issue somewhere, but I'll leave it to some with more accurate FT memories to revive that thread.

On topic, though - yes, AC IT has some major fails considering they are known to them!
