Reflection on a 1000th Post.
I just noticed that my last post was 999. Time sure flies when you are part of a vibrant community. It has only been a year and half since I joined the conversation. Remarkable what I have learned from very learned collegues. Maximizing mile accumulation; an MHD while the going was good; within stricking distance of SE this year; a positive feeling belonging to a group who share the same passion: and best of all being in a mode of continuous learning of the art of frequent flying.
To all...thank you.
To all...thank you.

airbus320,
Like the fine aircraft from which you chose a name, may you be flying with us for long and great many flights.
Congratulations, and looking forward to your next 1,000 postings.

Airbus320... Thank you for the time/effort that you devote to the AC board on FT.
I often feel like you are one of the anchors that keeps us as friendly and pleasant as we are. You've added a great deal to FT in the time that you've been here.
Thanks for being with us

Empress,
Thanks, yes--finally home from the hospital, and now that the staples are out, trying to learn how to walk again. Drove for the first time yesterday, out to the airport to have a coffee and plane watch--just to get out of the house. Saw the KLM inbound 747 do a missed approach about 10 feet off the runway (really!), as an AC A320 was just lifting off the other end.KLM could have landed, but he chose to go around--his decision of course--awesome though--he was really close, and over the threshold.
Thanks again for asking, Empress, 8 weeks at home now, so plenty of time to catch up on FT. Sorry, airbus320, didn't mean to steal your thunder here--just replying to Empress, and congratulations again.
