Booking two weeks ago (with travel the following week, i.e. July 3) YOW - FRA/TXL Executive First was cheaper than T+ for about 48 hours.. Unfortunately, my corp TA forgot to book and by the time the error was spotted, T+ was again the cheaper fare!

This has been covererd many times on FT. The people who buy the Lat fares are people who's plans change freqeuntly and need the flexbility when booking.
