Which program will you be switching to?

I think today's increase was the last straw for many of us, including me.

That being said, what is the best program for us Canadians to switch to? Thoughts? Opinions?

Already switched - CO/UA. Was worrying that it's not point-efficient to switch because I love the mini-RTWs, but now I see it's point-efficient to switch.

The latest 'enhancement' was well timed to be made public on a Friday, so that everyone can steam in their own blood while digesting it over the weekend.

When you visit other forums, you'll find out that the posters there know a word or two about 'enhancements' of their own programs as well. And the reaction is quite similar.

There is no need to panic, life goes on and as long as we have choices and are capable of taking advantage of them (whatever they may be), it is all good. Even staying at home and spending time with the family and friends vs. going for another MR is a choice, and a very sound one these days. It will also come cheaper at the end.

Which programs may that be? Some programs have barely changed in the last 10 years and some of them are much larger than Aeroplan in membership.

There is a whole world outside of Aeroplan and AC. Open your eyes to other possibilities and you may finally reach the stars... :-:

For credit cards SPG or Membership rewards is looking good. Most important thing tho is mileage is not a store of value, earn and burn quickly!!

I left Aeroplan years ago but still have 360K+ plus AP miles to burn through. I hope all the people who are E's and SE's here at least took advantage of the recent Flying Blue status match. I'm staying with BA but it's still nice to have that status match for any ST routings I might take in 2011.
