Clawback
A month ago I posted about getting my Prestige in the Dec sweeps and being asked to select my benefits. By the end of the year, i had qualified for Elite and again selected. Several of you stated that Aeroplan wouldn't clawback the points.
Guess what?
Yup. They clawed back my bonus status miles.

A previous poster stated that this was for 2010 status benefits. If so, then this was from the 2010 top tier section of the aeroplan website (not that it is any different for the 2011 program).
Bonus Air Canada Status Miles offered with this Select Privilege are not cumulative; if youve been awarded the Air Canada Elite status after March 1, 2010 and had previously selected or received this Select Privilege as part of your previous status, you will only retain the Bonus Air Canada Status Miles awarded with your most recent status.
