Booking Codes on E-Tickets

I just received my e-ticket confirmation for a flight YXU-HNL that I booked on PTO. The fare was just over $600, so it doesn't quite fall into the full fare category. The ticket, however, shows "Y-confirmed", as did the one I had last week for PHX (which I knew was an L from the online confirmation screen). Does anyone know if this is an AC glitch that would allow me to call for an upgrade rather than trying to do it on a stand-by basis, or is the "real" booking code tuced away somewhere?

I'll call anyway (leaving March 30th) and let you know what happens.

Y-CONFIRMED means you have a confirmed seat in the economy cabin. This has nothing to do with the booking class. The booking class is not shown on the e-ticket itinerary/receipt.

Thanks AB. I'm always hopeful.
