Even without the hotel, that works out to 1.5 cpm!
Is that an AC operated flight? Or a AC codeshare operated by UA?

Am on the verge of vegas for 1 nt on 10th Dec. which would put me over to requal for UA (see my signature) and for $90 to me worth it. Gotta say my confidence in expedia however is low so might just hang around online until the actual promo period starts so they can't use that as an exuse to negate my rsvn.

Thumbs up Good News!

Seems like Expedia is charging and correcting the total amount.

The way it works is you get a charge for the whole package before discount, then you are getting a refund issued for the $300.

My AmEx(s!) doesn't show anything yet as it's usually a day or two slow but others are reporting getting the $300 refund already!!!! ^

My payment history shows the charge and refund both processed. Look's like this is a go!

I think expedia is going to void whatever they can (people have already checked in to some weekend flights)...it would be too costly for them otherwise.

That's great! Dave you should convince the miss and come on down to Vegas man... It's a sin not to take advantage of this if it holds.

To organize a DO cause you seem to have a talent for it.

I think at least now you know you can always have a good shot at a gig as an Event Organizer.

I'm in for a night and a day 9-10 Dec. Cost was around $70 so not bad to push me over the threshold for making lowly 2P this year.

YYZ-SFO-YYZ is AC metal, otherwise, it wouldn't be eligible for Extravaganzel bonus. SFO-LAS is UA of course.

All of the weekend flights on US carriers to Vegas/NYC are booked solid through Christmas.

lol even my BUF-ORD-LAS flights have packed up almost to capacity since last night. When I did my booking there was about 75% capacity left.

I think Expedia just gave early Xmas presents to the airlines and us but the hotels get the jackpot with no-shows.
