Don't assume a hostel will have bed bugs and your plush Hyatt will not! Indeed the Grand Hyatt has a number of such stories while the Hostelling International hostel does not! Of course some of the cheaper hostels may.

I wonder if any of our west coast friends found a deal under $300? I thought I had read of somebody somewhere...but I'm going cross-eyed from reading through the other thread's million pages and don't want to check.

Thumbs up

Just came back from the save300 trip from YVR - LAS trip with overnight in Flamingo. Everything was normal. No full body scan, no pad down.
Only draw back was quite cold in Vegas & lots of crying babies on various segment of the flights.(Thanksgiving)
Stop at SFO & sampled good snacks at the Singapore lounge. On and all - a good trip.

I'd prefer to be there when it's cold rather than during the desert heat.

To everyone buying restaurant.com gift certs. I tried setting up an account but they want a US address.

If I put in a fake zip code will that screw up trying to make a purchase because my credit card address won't match? Any tips or tricks?

Create a bogus U.S. address and use Paypal?

I used the address of my hotel - no problems. Alternatively Paypal could work (haven't tried it myself).

Thanks tcook052 and will5404

I forgot about PayPal...I hardly ever use it anymore. I'll try CC first and see what happens

Where is this lounge? I'm routing through SFO on 3 of my trips. I was only aware of the UA RCC which is nice but has poor food offerings.

Credit card address doesn't have to match with restaurant.com. I use my brother's TX address, but my regular Cdn credit cards with no issue.
