H class question

I am planning for a HKG trip in March but my schedule is very unsure at this point. However, since the seat sale ends today, i wanted to take advantage of the "on sale" V upgradable fare for my travelling companion while i will get a H class so I could do the ugrade for both of us while I book it.

My question is whether H class (HLXAPAC) is changeable, and if so, is it only for the inbound or outbound or both? Any charges?

I know that there is a 25% penalty for refund which is fine for me since there is a chance which I won't be going.

It appears to be a fully changeable and refundable fare, up to 7 days before departure. If you change the outbound within 7 days you pay the 25% penalty.

You can change any other sector in Canada without charge, or international sectors for $107.

Don't count on this, as I'm not a travel agent (although I play one on TV.) But that's my read of the rules.

Do you really? Are you an actor/actress(jokes)?

It's a line from an old commercial that hyped some snake oil medicine -- an actor from a soap opera starts of claiming "I'm not an doctor, but I play one on TV." 'Course they then proceed to behave and talk as if they really are a doctor, expounding the benefits of their snake oil.

On more than a few occaisions, people here have wondered aloud if I am/was a travel agent, ticket agent, or some other travel industry employee. My little quip is to emphasize that while I might sound/look like it, like the actor, I am in fact non of these things. Perhaps I should have said "although I play one on FT."

Sorry for the OT explanation, but it seemed appropriate.
