Maple Leaf Meet Up thread?

Is there a Maple Leaf meet up thread like in the other airline sections? I had trouble finding it (obviously) if there is. I fly out of YUL a couple of times a year and wanted to check it out. My next flight is 8/17 early AM back to LAX via DFW on AA. I'd be happy to reciprocate with an Admirals Club entry sometime...as soon as 8/17 in DFW . Thanks.

This is probably the thread you are looking for. There is a lot of extra information in the thread, but you'll find the odd post of someone wanting to meet up, etc.

Unfortunately unless you are flying AC or another *A carrier you cannot be brought into the lounge as a guest, or even pay for access.

They check the ticket for all passengers? UA and AA just check the ticket and ID of the member.

YMMV, but in my experience, yes they do.

They have to check in order to bill other Star Alliance carriers/FF plans for their members' entrance into the lounges.
