Routing question
Could someone please tell me if this is a possible route YYJ-EZE-FOR-YYJ. I am planning this trip for next year and would like to use my points to go in the good seats as much as possible. Could someone please suggest routes that could make it happen. I really don't care if I have to do a milk run to get there. Thanks!

Had never heard of Pinto Martins International Airport (FOR) before I looked it up. I guess only TAM flies to FOR, but TAM hasnt joined *A yet, so youll have to book a seperate ticket to get to FOR.
I guess the following would be a possible routing:
YYJ-YYZ-EZE (open-jaw) GRU-YYZ-YYJ

I believe TAM has joined.
As to Fortaleza, it's quite a distance from Rio or Sao Paulo. Probably a four hours flight to GRU?

According to the Star Alliance TAM doesnt seem to be a member yet:

AFAIK TAM will be joining *A in May 2010.

Regardless of whether TAM is part of *A or not, their flights are available for reward redemption.

Thanks for the correction.
So the OP should be able fly:
YYJ-YYZ-GRU-FOR // EZE-YYZ-YYJ
Not quite sure if including FOR-GRU-EZE inbetween would exceed the MPM, but apart from that it should be a legal routing, shouldnt it?
