Trying to upgrade to EZE

Hey all - trying to upgrade YYZ-EZE which has a stop in SCL. Inventory to SCL shows R9 but R0 for EZE. Any ideas if they will give a confirmed upgrade to SCL and waitlist for EZE?

Thanks for the response. Just curious, did you get confirmed at the gate or ahead of time?

I find after SYD... EZE would be the next most difficult to get an upgrade.

Keep in mind it's not a daily operated flight.

Good luck

The YYZ-SCL segment is wide open, even with the agent confirming 21 open seats and an R9 inventory. Crazy thing is, that I can not get confirmed for this segment??? Any insight as to why?

Logic prevails that if I were flying SYD-YYZ, I have had the SYD-YVR segment confirmed but then waitlisted for the YVR-YYZ segment.

EZE not Easy

Same also seems to hold true when trying to book AC AE reward J class seats to EZE...to SCL seems fine, but to EZE seems anything but "easy!"

See if you can get the YYZ-SCL and SCL-EZE split into 2 coupons. My guess is that since you can't upgrade for the entire flight covered by 1 coupon, that you can't upgrade any part of the flight.

It would be pretty sad to be deprived of an upgrade due to non availability on the short hop!
