SE-->E Having problems selecting pkg

Are SE members downgrading to E for 2010 still having problems selecting their benefits? I still can't seem to do it. I know there was a thread going on discussing this but can't seem to find it. Any word on what is going on? thanks

It is the most recent 4-5 posts on the sneak peak thread in the sticky up top(and numerous posts earlier).

I've been away for several days and haven't read through everything I've missed. What is the 80k reduced goal?

Last year they offered SEs who fell to E a reduced goal to achieve SE back again!

That promo was only announced in March last year. It would help if those in this situation would provide the actual SMs earned so a better assessment could be made. Did you miss SE by 20K or 5K or 4oK?

Sh, here is my situation:

2010 2009 2008
Air Canada Status Miles Earned 20653 45598 65000+-
Air Canada Status Flight Segments Flown 9 64 145+-

The reason for large drop in segs from 2008 to 2009 is two fold. I used numerous short haul awards, they are worth it at 15,000 for the route I fly, and I commuted in my own plane more than the previous year.

This year will have less segs than miles as compared to previous years. I will have 28,000+- SMs by the end of January. I would love to see a similar promo as the one offered in 2009.
