plane changed?

I had booked a flight for the wife and I to Hawaii for the xmas holidays many months ago...YYZ-YVR-OGG on Dec 22, and HNL-YVR-YYZ on Jan 1.

When I booked it, the OGG flight(057) was on a new cabin 763, thus we selected a seat that was 1 behind each other, 2,3K...
Same with the HNL flight(048), new cabin so it was 2A,3A...

Now I checked the flight status, and those 763's are the old interiors....
now our seats aren't together anymore...

Any chance the plane will change again or best I call air canada to switch seats to sit together now...since its going to be those old seats, i rather share a row with my wife, than a stranger.

Not likely to change - those planes are now standard on that route. I'd phone in (or go online) and have them pair you up.

Your YVR-OGG flight should be new interior - only Saturdays are the non-XM aircraft.

The HNL-YVR will be non-XM, almost all HNL flying (YYC/YVR) will be non-XM this winter.

I would call reservations to change your seat assignments on the return, though the front cabin is pretty full on 01Jan.
