Connection in CMN

I'm going from Paris to Conakry, Guinea via Casablanca in just over a month and had a question regarding a connection in CMN. I'm given the choice of either a 50 minute connection or a 5 hour connection and was wondering if the 50 minute connection is able to be done regularly. Both flights are in Terminal 2. I do not want to have to hand around CMN for 5 hours but will gladly do so if necessary. Any help out there? Thanks.

I think the real question is: How disruptive will it be to your plans if you or your luggage miss your onward flight to Conakry? Casablanca airport is relatively small, so the connection is relatively easy, if everything goes according to plan. The problem is that you have to take into account the possibility that things won't. Even a relatively small delay on departing Paris puts your connection in jeopardy.

Given the limited number of flights in west Africa, I would be inclined to go for the longer connection time, as tedious as it is, because the alternative of waiting for a day or even multiple days for the next flight (if your connection falls apart) would be unacceptable.

If you are in AT business class, the lounge is pretty nice. Free internet PC's, spacious and comfy chairs.

Another connection related issue... Travelling with wife and kids (8 and 6) is an hour and 5 mins long enough (on a Saturday night) to connect two RAM flights?

Also do you reckon if the LHR --> CMN flight were delayed do you reckon RAM would hold their Agadir flight?

Ta in advance...

Sure, no problem.

That would likely depend on many variables. No way to know in advance.
