Kigali Layover

Hi everyone, I have a 6 hour layover in Kigali from 5:50am landing from DXB till 11:50 am going to LUN. (Last minute booking and unfortuntely my preferred airlines, EK and ET, when flying between where I live and home (or anywhere in Africa really for work/leisure), were both unavailable so was left with this option only.) Wondering if its worth it to go outside in Kigali - is there anything to do for 6 hours in the morning? Zambian passport holder so visa is free I believe.

You would get pretty bored at the airport. I would go out and get breakfast somewhere. Take a taxi to the Genocide memorial then walk towards the Radisson Blu Hotel. Kigali is an easy place to visit and worth a look if you have not been before.

I third the other posts -- the Genocide Museum is a no brainer under these circumstances.
