Mauritius
Is the One & Only in Mauritius still the best hotel on the island? Have been to Shangri La 3 years ago, but was disappointing. Otherwise any other similar destinations like Mauritius?

I far preferred the Seychelles TBH. The islands felt really special whereas Mauritius didn't quite hit the spot. Mozambique is off limits right now, sadly, though the resorts there are more barefoot chic.

One & Only was great when we visited in late November. I haven't been to any other hotel/resort so don't have a point of reference, but really no negatives about One & Only.
