ATM in Uganda
Are the ATM's safe in Uganda or do I need to bring cash instead of using an ATM? I do not want my debit card compromised.

I've gotten Shillings at the ATMs at Entebbe as you emerge from customs with no problems.

ATMs are fine, but don't always work. And you can get better rates on the black market for cash ($50/$100 bills only).

Whether you get better rates or not depends on your bank. I always get better rates with my ATM card and have used it in Kampala many times. If I got better rates on the street I'd be stealing.
