Mauritius - a few questions
Hello,
My wife and I are planning our next anniversary (May, 2016) and Mauritius is currently figuring at the top of our list of places to visit.
While I have done some bit of online research, I wanted to check a couple of things with the Mauritius experts on this forum. We are looking for a very good beach side resort.
1) My findings lead me to believe that Le Morne probably has one of the better beaches (if not the best) in Mauritius? Is this correct?
2) Between Lux, Le Morne and the St Regis, Le Morne, which resort would you prefer and why? Both are highly rated so it is leading to some confusion. FWIW, we don't have any status with SPG.
3) Would it be recommended to go HB or FB at either of these resorts?
4) Would the weather (and winds?) be conducive for a peaceful and lazy beach side experience in the month of May? I ask this because the winds are apparently a source of discomfort for some people at this part of the island.
Thanking all in advance.
