Enough time for Dublin transit connection?
In two weeks (on a Sunday), I'll be flying on TAP Portugal from Dublin to Lisbon at 10:40 am. I'll previously be in London. I can fly in the previous night, but since I'm visiting friends there I would prefer to catch a 6:40 am Aer Lingus flight from Heathrow, arriving Dublin at 8 am that day.
These will be separate tickets. Does an 8 am - 10:40 am work as a pretty viable connection?
For what it's worth, I'll just be doing carry-on, my Aer Lingus "Advantage" ticket is Fast Track through Heathrow (not sure that gets me anything in Dublin, but thought i'd mention it) and my TAP ticket is business class.
Thanks for any advice.

Should be fine, just bear in mind you will have to exit Terminal 2 arrivals and either reenter security and walk to Terminal 1, or walk to Terminal 1 and enter via security there
You cannot 'self connect' between EI and TAP, you will be turned back at flight connections
