Vouchers only I believe. I think @Mike_Smith tried it with RR points with no success.

Points clear down on SV RR so vouchers on the way. Hopefully followed by avios transfer promo similar to previous.

New offer launched of a 50% bonus on transfers. headforpoints website alerted me to this. Nothing on EI or SV yet it seems but if you go into SV website you'll see a 50% point boost when you key in the figures to transfer. I'm sure advertisements will update soon.

Here's hoping it will be the same as the last "50%" bonus

Thankfully I held on to my vouchers from the December issue. I'd say no one was transferring them to avios so they've been forced to run a promotion.

Email today stating Bank of Ireland will stop it's partnership with Supervalu real rewards from April, with a 500 bonus point departing gift. So no more RR (and by extension avios) from general card spend and also SV card spend.

While this doesn't affect the Aerclub - SV RR relationship for those of us who shop in SV and use BOI this was a great little earner for avios transfers especially with the transfer promotions. No reason given for this exactly, I guess these things change from time to time.

Possibly related to the recent launch of the BOI aerclub earning credit card

Back to Dunnes then...

Seriously, it was a great earner and main reason to shop in SV and maintain BOI card - ending this partnership surely damaging and greatly reduces earning ability on Avios - the new BOI card still remains worthless on this aspect despite greater points per spend - I guess that BOI are trying to force us in that direction now.

500 bye bye points will be welcome, especially if they combine with a triple points offer!
