Black Friday 2023

I think A3 has enough money at the moment so this offer is nothing special but there will be another discount revealed on the 24th, let's see!

I still hope they'll do those incredible 6x award miles, like in 2021. I flew to several islands during the winter in CFLEX to earn over 100K miles because you'd get 6x award miles + 20% if you were Gold. Good times.

Last year A3 offered decreasing discounts on flights during the 3 days: they were 70pc, 60pc and 50pc off on Sunday, last day.
To me it turned out more convenient to wait for NYE offer .

In my opinion, Aegean is capable in anything, with their anniversary they have thrown away millions of miles to random people without status. Who knows what crazy idea gets in their mind.

Number of passengers arriving in Greek airports (Jan-Aug 2023): up 14.5% compared to 2022 and up 11.9% compared to 2019 (record year). Unrealistic? For my part, I expect to become Emperor of China next year, why not!

For FY2021, it was just 65.6%, even lower than they had managed for FY2020 (67.4%), meaning that they started bringing back capacity faster than passengers were willing to return.
In 2021, they really needed to stimulate as many passengers as possible by whatever means necessary (including the above-mentioned "Covid-era offers"). Right now, the planes fill themselves up without any such additional incentives.
There is absolutely no requirement for Aegean to revisit the type of offers rolled out when their planes were the emptiest they have ever been (unless someone in A3 has lost the run of themselves entirely)
