Star Alliance MegaDO - Sponsored by Aegean
I just read that the next MegaDo will be around Greece, and sponsored by Aegean. Will include visits to Athens and Mykonos and operated by a chartered Aegean aircraft. Participants get one year free M+B Gold status and there is a contest for 100K miles and a 5 year extension on status.
The downside? I just read that registration opened and apparently sold out already. Would have been nice to get to see a day behind the scenes at ATH!

Perhaps we should, as FT group, try to organize something. Not by chartering an aircraft, but a meetup at ATH would be cool - especially if we could get Aegean involved with a tour or other activity(s)..

Good idea. I'm in. We just need someone to arrange it, by pulling some strings above. But doubt they would do an extra DO.
