It's Here - my Gold Card (finally)
Good News
My Gold card finally arrived today.
From the letter that came with it, it sounds like this card was sent in response to my using the LOST / REPLACE card link on April 15.

GOLD Upgrade email: January 20, 2014
NO CARD RECEIVED SO
LOST REPLACE CARD LINK UTILIZED April 15, 2014
GOLD CARD RECEIVED: June 11, 2014
Expiration: December 2015

Success story: Flying TG from BLR to DPS on a Y fare today, lady at check in counter said A3 shows up as 'normal' (I.e no status) card. I was allowed to login to A3 miles and bonus website and show them the gold status which they acknowledged. My tickets also reflect A3*G

Nope, my GF qualified in early May but nothing yet. Location is SIN so hoping to get it in early July.
She is flying mostly SQ and her BPs do reflect A3 *G already without having to present the card as long as her A3 FFP# is associated with the PNR upon booking.

Still no card has arrived. My address is practically right next door at Istanbul, Turkey. Should I use the Lost Card Reissue function on the website? I wanted have those luggage tags as well.

Don't do that yet, as a lost card reissue will delete your original request and you will then miss the luggage tag. If you take a look at the posts here, you are still well within a normal waiting time. A3 only prints the cards once a month.
